Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Manager to help expand our catering and restaurant business in and around Kottayam. The role involves securing catering orders from a wide range of clients — including corporates, institutions, churches, temples, event organizers, and tour operators. Whether it’s a Sunday meal service at a church, daily corporate lunches, or a stopover lunch for a travel group, this role rewards initiative, relationship-building, and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate Catering Orders: Identify and secure catering opportunities for corporate meals, functions, events, and institutions such as schools and churches.
- Restaurant Sales Development: Promote our restaurant offerings to groups, families, and institutions for dine-ins and special bookings.
- Tour Operator Tie-Ups: Build relationships with travel agencies and tour operators to bring in travel groups for meal stopovers at our restaurant.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Field Visits & Networking: Actively visit potential clients (corporates, churches, travel operators, institutions) to pitch catering and restaurant services.
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales and order-generation targets set by management.
- Market Research: Keep track of local events, travel groups, and catering opportunities. Stay informed about market trends and competitors.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and share client feedback to improve offerings and ensure satisfaction.
- Promotions & Marketing Support: Participate in marketing campaigns, local promotions, and collaborations to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Any Graduate (Background in Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality preferred)
- Experience: 0–2 years in sales, hospitality, event management, or related fields (freshers with strong motivation are also encouraged to apply)
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Goal-oriented with a passion for field sales
- Good understanding of the local market and customer preferences
- Proactive, reliable, and self-driven
- Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel across Kottayam and nearby areas
- A two-wheeler is preferred for client visits
- Should be comfortable meeting clients from all walks of life — from corporate managers to church & temple committees and travel operators
Compensation
- Base Salary: ₹10,000 per month during the 2-month probationary period
- Post-Probation: Salary hike based on performance
- Incentives: Attractive performance-based incentives and commissions for:
- Securing regular catering orders
- Bringing in travel groups through tour operator tie-ups
- Achieving or exceeding monthly sales targets

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
