Sales and Marketing Manager (Puthukadai)

Sales Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Planning: To develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets. This includes setting sales goals, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating sales forecasts.
  • Team Management and Training: To recruit, train, and mentor the sales team. To provide ongoing training to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Customer Relationship Management: To maintain strong relationships with key clients, such as optometrists, ophthalmologists, and optical retail chains.
  • Market Analysis and Expansion: To analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. This includes exploring new regions, product lines, or customer segments to expand the company's market share.
  • Pricing and Negotiations: The manager is responsible for setting competitive pricing strategies and negotiating contracts with large clients to ensure profitability.

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy Development: To create and implement a marketing plan that aligns with the overall business objectives. This includes defining the brand's unique selling proposition (USP) and targeting specific customer segments.
  • Brand Management: The manager is the steward of the company's brand, ensuring consistency in all marketing materials and communications. They work to build brand awareness and a positive reputation in the industry.
  • Product Marketing: This involves launching new optical lens products, developing promotional materials, and creating messaging that highlights the technical features and benefits of the lenses to both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Digital and Traditional Marketing: To oversee a variety of marketing channels, which can include digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) and traditional methods (trade shows, print advertising, industry publications).
  • Market Research: To conduct research to understand customer needs, preferences, and feedback. This information is crucial for product development and for refining marketing and sales strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Master's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Marketing: 5 years (Preferred)
  • B2B sales: 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

Willingness to travel:
