Position – Sales & Operations Manager

Location – Goregaon, Mumbai.

Experience:* 1 – 10 years in sales and operations within the cold chain or temperature-controlled logistics industry*.

Salary – 20k to 50k (Depends on experience)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales & Operations Executive with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the cold chain industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing both sales and operational activities, ensuring smooth service delivery, client satisfaction, and business growth. Strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities

• Assist in building and expanding current business.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the cold chain sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable cold chain solutions.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Conduct regular client visits, follow-ups, and account management.

Operations Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cold chain logistics, storage, and distribution operations.
• Coordinate with transport teams, warehouse staff, and service providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor temperature-controlled operations to ensure product integrity.
• Track shipments, resolve operational issues, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, dispatches, and operational reports.
• Ensure adherence to cold chain compliance standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors to fulfill their demand and mobilizing and generating more market vehicles

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with sales, operations, and customer support teams for seamless service execution.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism.
• Assist in planning and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 3–5 years in sales and operations within the cold chain or temperature-controlled logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of cold chain processes, storage requirements, transport handling, and temperature monitoring.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic CRM tools.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with refrigerated transport, cold storage.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to cold chain operations.
• Should have experience in hard core transport cold chain sales and operations.
