Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries.
- Provide product knowledge, features, and recommendations.
- Handle customer complaints or issues and escalate when necessary.
- Guide customers to specific product sections within the hypermarket.
Sales & Merchandising
- Arrange shelves, racks, and displays according to planograms.
- Replenish stock regularly to ensure full availability of items.
- Ensure products are properly priced and labelled.
- Promote ongoing offers, discounts, and special promotions.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Assist in receiving, checking, and stocking merchandise.
- Conduct daily or weekly stock counts as required.
- Report stock shortages, damages, or expired items to the supervisor.
Store Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned section.
- Ensure all products are stored safely and neatly.
- Follow safety, hygiene, and anti-theft procedures.
Billing & Support
- Assist at the checkout counter during peak hours when required.
- Pack customer purchases neatly and ensure proper handling of goods.
3. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or hypermarket experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic sales techniques and customer handling.
4. Skills Required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and handling merchandise.
