Sales Associate (1+ years of sales experience)

Job Description:

A sales associate is responsible for all sales activities from lead generation through the closing process. Then will develop and implement the agreed upon sales skills which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in and around the market area.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the sales of new and used powersports products which may include, but are not limited to motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, personal watercraft, dirt-bikes, and scooters.
• Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that allows Sales associates to give effective presentation of any product that may exist in the Macomb Powersports inventory.
• Participate in morning meetings with Management for daily/monthly goals while keeping a great attitude and, to achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes.
• Complete understanding and knowledge of product pricing, the negotiation process and menu-selling.
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships, to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale, offering all front-end, back-end, accessories, and service products at all times.
• Responsible for developing customer relationships and referrals.
• Demonstrates the ability to gather and submit detailed customer information for the purpose of pricing and providing the best solution for the customer. Maintaining accurate records including sales calls and follow-up activities.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
• Participates and contributes to the development and continuing education that is involved in the ever-changing models of product that are sold. This will better serve our customers on informing them of the optimum purchasing decision.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year Experience in sales and/or direct customer service, willing to train.
• Must be able to work in a results-oriented fast paced environment as part of a team.
• Must be reliable and responsible.
• Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent customer relation skills.
• Must be able to pass background check including employment history, SSN verification, and criminal history.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
