We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining store standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and product selections.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are stocked appropriately.
• Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing, and retail math calculations.
• Uphold store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members, demonstrating strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
• Familiarity with merchandising techniques and stocking procedures.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with customers and team members.
