Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, fun, and friendly Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal person will have a passion for customer service, a non-judgmental attitude, and the ability to engage with customers in an intimate setting. We are looking for someone that is sex positive, and interested in the all of the types of products we sell. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, completing the daily tasks, and driving sales.

Duties

• Greet customers and ID customers as they enter the store.
• Assist customers with all questions and purchases.
• Ring up customers accurately.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are well-displayed and replenished as needed.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Experience in retail sales, particularly within a grocery store environment.
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Knowledge of merchandising principles to enhance product visibility.
• Ability to perform product demos that effectively showcase features and benefits.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.78 - $27.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
