Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing product demonstrations, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Utilize effective communication skills to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register and POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and inventory to assist customers effectively.
• Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience.
• Perform retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory management.
• Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating cash registers is a plus.
• Be able to lift up to 60 pounds
• A proactive approach to upselling products and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
