The Sales Associate will support Vortexen’s Fire & Safety Division by generating enquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating with suppliers, following up with clients, and supporting the sales team in closing opportunities. This position requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to handle technical fire & safety requirements across Oil & Gas, Civil, Marine, and Industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Client Engagement

  • Actively engage with clients to promote Fire & Safety products and services, including extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, VESDA, suppression systems, PPE, and AMC services.
  • Follow up on leads, enquiries, and quotations until closure.
  • Maintain strong communication with existing and new customers to build long-term relationships.
  • Support the field sales engineer with client meetings, documentation, and technical discussions.
  • Help clients understand certifications, compliance, and product standards (Civil Defence, NFPA, EN, ESMA, ADNOC requirements).

2. Quotation & Documentation Support

  • Prepare quotations, commercial offers, proposals, and client documents.
  • Update and maintain records in Zoho CRM (leads, contacts, deals, follow-ups).
  • Coordinate with operations to prepare AMC, service reports, and project updates.

3. Supplier Coordination

  • Send RFQs to suppliers for fire safety products and specialized items.
  • Follow up for pricing, stock availability, TDS, certifications, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare price comparison sheets and assist in finalizing supplier selections.

4. Delivery & Project Coordination

  • Follow up on purchase orders, delivery schedules, and logistics.
  • Coordinate service technicians for refilling, servicing, installation, or AMC work.
  • Ensure correct product delivery, proper documentation, and client sign-off.

5. Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain organized documentation for quotations, POs, invoicing, and delivery notes.
  • Assist in tender submissions and compliance documents as required.

Required QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, Fire & Safety, or related field.
  • 1–3 years experience in sales or sales coordination (Fire & Safety industry preferred).
  • Experience in UAE market (Oil & Gas, Civil Defense approvals, EPC clients) is an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Knowledge of Fire & Safety products (extinguishers, alarms, hydrants, suppression) preferred.
  • Familiarity with UAE standards & compliance is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Zoho CRM (or similar systems).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
