Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products, offering detailed product demos and upselling where appropriate
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
• Conduct stock replenishment, inventory checks, and assist with stocking duties to keep the store inviting
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support supervising staff in daily operations and help train new team members on sales techniques and store procedures

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings if applicable
• Experience supervising or leading small teams is a plus
• Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and cashiering duties efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Knowledge of retail math for pricing, discounts, and sales calculations is advantageous
