The Collier Agency, representing Rural Mutual Insurance, is a family-run agency with 25+ years of combined experience. We specialize in farm, commercial, home, auto, and life insurance. We’re committed to protecting what matters most for our clients while building strong relationships in the communities we serve.

Position Summary

We’re seeking a driven, people-first professional to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, consultative sales, and helping families and businesses find the right insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities across multiple insurance lines
• Network in the community to generate referrals and increase agency awareness
• Support the agency owner in achieving sales and service goals
• Build long-term client relationships through excellent follow-up and service

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Life & Health license preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in insurance sales or related fields is a plus
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to grow a book of business
