We’re seeking a Sales Associate who blends customer service excellence with strong sales ability to convert each client interaction into a successful sale.

This role supports clients by ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. You’ll partner with internal teams and client contacts to deliver seamless execution, creative solutions, and a superior client experience.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do / Your Impact

Client Partnership & Risk Strategy
  • Engage with consumer clients via inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats
  • Build rapport quickly and use empathy to understand client needs
  • Recommend appropriate insurance products (dental, vision, ancillary) based on individual needs
  • Guide clients through product selection to support successful purchase decisions

Operational Excellence
  • Convert inbound/outbound calls and chats into completed sales
  • Cross‑sell clients into additional relevant products
  • Learn and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Alera Group’s individual insurance product portfolio
  • Participate consistently in QA coaching and performance improvement sessions
  • Deliver exceptional service to consumers and agents in every interaction
  • Demonstrate strong typing accuracy (40+ WPM) and proficiency with Microsoft Office

Strategic Contribution
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the consumer and agent experience
  • Identify opportunities to enhance sales outcomes and service processes
  • Uphold and model team values including client‑obsession, continuous learning, integrity, enthusiasm, resilience, and teamwork

Qualifications:

What You Bring

Required
  • 1+ years of experience in customer‑facing industries such as retail, restaurants, or beauty.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and engage with clients by phone.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to type 40+ words per minute.
Preferred
  • Health, Accident, and Life Insurance License.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish.

Additional Information:
Compensation:
Hourly range: $21.63 – $21.90 per hour
