Duties

• Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their needs and preferences
• Demonstrate products through engaging demos, highlighting features and benefits to encourage purchases
• Assist customers at the point of sale (POS) systems, handling transactions accurately and efficiently
• Upsell related products by identifying customer needs and offering tailored recommendations
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory
• Manage stock levels through regular stocking, inventory checks, and product replenishment
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, including cash handling and cashiering duties while adhering to store policies
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent service delivery

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar environments
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Strong communication skills with a professional phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or in person
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos enhances your candidacy
• Knowledge of retail math principles for upselling and sales tracking purposes
• Customer service skills that emphasize patience, active listening, and problem-solving capabilities
