Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
• Assist customers in selecting products, explaining features, and answering questions to enhance their shopping experience
• Process sales transactions accurately using retail math skills, cash handling, and cash management procedures
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, including basic math calculations and 10 key typing tasks
• Support banking functions such as cash reconciliation, deposit preparation, and balancing registers at the end of shifts
• Handle customer inquiries related to financial services, loan processing, or account information with professionalism and clarity
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize merchandise displays, and ensure product availability on the sales floor

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and retail math concepts
• Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers and explain financial or product details
• Ability to perform cash handling duties accurately while managing cash register operations
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
