Sales Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome every customer with a warm, professional greeting and help proactively.
  • Listen to customer needs and recommend suitable products using clear, reassuring, jargon-free language.
  • Tailor the interaction style for each customer profile: technical for experienced golfers; warm and accessible for beginners; welcoming for families and lifestyle shoppers; discreet for VIP guests.
  • Adapt communication appropriately for beginners, families, and female customers in line with Saudi cultural expectations.
  • Support after-sales service including basic product queries, exchanges, and follow-up.
  • Achieve individual monthly sales targets as set by the Store Supervisor and Store Manager.
  • Drive conversion of customer visits into purchases through active, knowledgeable, needs-led engagement.
  • Cross-sell and upsell across equipment, apparel, accessories, balls, nutrition, and gifting categories.
  • Actively promote and refer customers to fitting appointments, simulator sessions, and loyalty programmes.
  • Maintain current, accurate knowledge of all brands, product categories, and items available in-store.
  • Attend all mandatory product training sessions, brand update briefings, and internal learning sessions.
  • Communicate product features, benefits, and performance differentiation to customers at all skill levels.
  • Stay informed about new product launches, seasonal collections, Saudi-themed ranges, and brand campaigns.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, display standards, and product presentation in line with BEDOWIN visual standards.
  • Assist with stock replenishment, cycle counts, receiving, and basic loss prevention.
  • Process all sales transactions accurately and professionally via Lightspeed POS.
  • Adhere to all Golf Saudi policies, KAFD store regulations, and BEDOWIN SOPs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Retail, Sports Sciences, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years in premium retail, luxury, fashion, sports, or golf retail environments.
  • A background in golf retail, pro shop, or active participation in the sport is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving individual sales targets in a customer-facing environment.
  • Exposure to gifting, lifestyle, or multi-category retail is an advantage.
  • luent in English; Arabic bilingual is a strong advantage given Saudi customer profile.
  • Professional in appearance and communication at all times.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh, KSA.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Consultative selling techniques for premium and luxury retail
  • Golf equipment knowledge — hardware, balls, apparel, footwear, accessories, nutrition, gifting
  • Lightspeed POS operation, transaction processing, and basic stock handling
  • Customer engagement, cultural sensitivity, and personalised service delivery
  • Visual standards maintenance and product handling
  • Product knowledge development and brand awareness
  • Delivering Results (Intermediate), Influencing People (Intermediate), Solving Problems (Basic), Adapting Approaches (Intermediate)
