Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate, you play a key role in creating a welcoming, educational, and stigma-free customer experience. You guide customers through their purchase, provide clear product information, and ensure all transactions are handled accurately and in line with store policies.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Education

• Greet customers warmly and create a comfortable, non-judgmental environment
• Ask questions to understand customer preferences and needs
• Recommend products and explain effects, consumption methods, and basic dosing in a clear, simple way
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat visits

Sales & Transactions

• Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash and cashless payments
• Suggest relevant add-on products based on customer needs
• Stay up to date on promotions, product releases, and key items

Store Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, including counters, POS areas, and product displays
• Sweep, mop, and clean spills to ensure a safe environment
• Manage trash and cannabis-related waste according to store procedures
• Keep stockroom, break areas, and shared spaces clean and organized

Compliance & Security

• Verify customer age and follow all ID-check procedures
• Follow store policies and state regulations during all transactions
• Handle products and customer data responsibly and securely
• Follow all procedures related to store access and product handling

Team Collaboration & Culture

• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, respectful work environment
• Stay up to date on company communications and training
• Assist the team in meeting daily store goals

Visual Merchandizing

• Maintain clean, organized, and accurate product displays
• Ensure products are displayed according to store standards and state guidelines
• Support product placement and in-store promotions

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
