Identify and develop new business opportunities in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients (end users, EPCs, consultants, and partners).
Expand the company's presence in Egypt and regional markets (eg., Libya, North Africa, GCC).
Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging digitalization solutions to support strategic growth.
Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract award and handover.
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals for Advanced Process Control (APC), Process Modeling & Simulation, and Digitalization solutions.
Conduct technical presentations, client meetings, and negotiations.
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall department revenue.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
Analyze client requirements and propose optimized technical solutions aligned with business needs.
Coordinate with internal engineering teams to develop high-quality proposals and scopes of work.
Support pre-sales activities including Process assessments, APC opportunity identification, and Digital transformation roadmaps.
Ensure alignment between technical offerings and client expectations.
Act as the main focal point between clients and internal teams during pre-award.
Support project kickoff (KOM) and ensure smooth handover to execution teams.
Follow up on ongoing projects from a commercial perspective (variations, change orders, client satisfaction).
Maintain long-term client engagement to generate repeat business.
Coordinate with technology partners on opportunities and proposals.
Align with vendors on pricing, technical approach, and commercial strategies.
Represent the company in joint meetings, workshops, and events with partners.
Maintain and update sales pipeline, and forecast reports.
Participate in weekly/monthly sales review meetings.
Provide regular updates on opportunities, risks, and market insights.
Support management in strategic planning and business decisions.
Review contract terms, identify risks, and support negotiations.
Ensure alignment with company policies on pricing, margins, and payment terms.
Coordinate with finance and legal teams when required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (with process background).
A Master's degree (MSc or MBA) is a plus, especially in Business Administration (MBA), Energy Management, Process Engineering or related fields.
