Job Description: Sales Category Lead
OLX Pakistan is seeking Category Lead to join its high-performing sales team. The core responsibility will be to lead a team of category specialists to drive growth of revenue, content and customer satisfaction at a category level. They will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, commercial excellence and product teams to plan, develop and execute on key insights to deliver on monthly targets. An effective category lead must be an excellent communicator and have outstanding interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies that drive revenue growth and sales performance
- Analyze data, market trends, and customer insights to develop and complement category strategy and decision-making
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide tools, training, and insights to optimize team’s performance in the field.
- Set pricing strategies in alignment with margin targets and market dynamics.
- Ensure successful execution of promotional campaigns and trade marketing initiatives.
- Lead a team of sales to execute category-specific plans and initiatives, including client outreach, on-boarding and renewal strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of category plans and initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Monitor and optimize category performance, including traffic, conversion, acquisition, renewals and revenue metrics in coordination with relevant teams
- Monitor team KPIs including sales volume, revenue and margin.
- Continuously improve the customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction for the category verticals
Proficiency of Tools & Systems
- Lead Management System, CRM, MS Office, Business Intelligence Tools
Essential Skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
- At least 1 year of sales leadership experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing sales teams
- Excellent analytical skills, with experience of using data and insights to create actionable strategies
- Excellent command of English & local / regional languages (verbal & written)
- Excellent business communication and negotiation skills
- Previous experience in the online classifieds or online marketplace industry is preferred

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs180,000.00 per month
