Urban Company started as UrbanClap in November 2014, when its founders, Abhiraj, Raghav, and Varun, realized that the home services industry was predominantly unorganized, fragmented, and offline. Customers found it challenging to avail quality services conveniently, and service professionals were struggling to make ends meet, having to rely upon several middlemen, contractors, and local aggregators.

The founders felt that the industry was ripe for disruption, and launched Urban Company, with three key principles in mind –

We are building Revanmp by Urban Company , a premium offering that helps customers transform their homes with ease and style. To power this growth, we’re launching the Sales Development Program – designed for young professionals eager to consult customers, offer creative solutions, and manage high-impact makeover projects.

As a Sales Consultant , you’ll be at the heart of this mission – turning customer aspirations into reality, bringing together consultative sales, customer relationship management, and hands-on project management. This is not just a job; it’s a launchpad for your career:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Customer Relationship Management: Be the single point of contact for customers during their home makeover journey.
• Consultative Sales: Understand customer needs, recommend solutions, and drive sales conversions.
• Project Oversight: Coordinate execution with internal teams and professionals to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Team Coordination: Guide and supervise service professionals to align on goals, timelines, and expectations.
• Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of service and customer delight at every touchpoint.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve customer or project challenges quickly and effectively.
• Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and sales metrics to fuel continuous improvement.
