Job Purpose:
The Sales Consultant manages the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to post-sales follow-up, while ensuring adherence to company policies The role is responsible for achieving sales and product targets, supporting customers with financing and insurance requirements, and delivering excellent customer service to foster long-term relationships and contribute to overall sales growth
Job Responsibilities
Sales / Sales Process
Follow all steps of the sales process, including prospecting, meeting and greeting, consultation, presentation, demonstration, negotiation, gaining commitment, closure and delivery, and post-sales follow-up
Ensure all documentation complies with company policies
Liaise with relevant departments to ensure seamless completion of the sales process
Report daily activities to the Sales Supervisor/Manager
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maximising profit from each transaction
Close maximum sales opportunities while maintaining and growing the existing customer base
Assist customers with finance and insurance products according to their requirements
Achieve targets for accessories, in-house insurance, and GAP insurance
Create productive sales-related videos for customers and meet Venta Vid targets
Ensure targets for internal and external Mystery Shopping programmes are achieved
Follow up with customers in a timely manner
Participate in sales meetings
Achieve all KPIs set by management
Customer Experience
Meet and exceed customer expectations
Schedule follow-ups, deliveries, and new customer acquisition using strong time-management skills
Assist customers in making informed vehicle choices and build loyalty through a personalised and tailored sales experience
Achieve SSI (Sales Satisfaction Index) targets by delivering excellent customer service
Ensure accurate collection and submission of customer details
Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with customers
Ensure smooth, clean, and defect-free delivery of sold vehicles as promised
Perform other related tasks as required
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
Work Experience
2–3 years of sales experience in the automotive or related industry
