Sales Consultant

Job Purpose

The Sales Executive – New Cars is responsible for actively promoting and selling the department’s products, meeting targets for vehicle sales, accessories, and associated warranty, finance, and insurance products The role also ensures achievement of the Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) commitments set by management

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all steps of the sales process, including prospecting, meeting and greeting, consultation, presentation, demonstration, negotiation, gaining commitment, closure, delivery, and post-sales follow-up

  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policy

  • Liaise closely with other departments to complete the sales process efficiently

  • Report daily activities to the Sales Supervisor/Manager

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maximising profit per transaction

  • Close maximum opportunities while maintaining and expanding the existing customer base

  • Assist customers with finance and insurance products according to their requirements

  • Achieve targets for accessories, in-house insurance, and GAP insurance

  • Create productive sales process-related videos for customers and achieve Venta Vid targets

  • Meet internal and external Mystery Shopping programme targets

  • Conduct timely follow-ups with customers

  • Participate in sales meetings

  • Achieve all KPIs set by management

  • Generate sufficient outdoor appointments through telephone, web, and CRM channels

  • Leverage social media platforms monthly to generate leads

  • Meet and exceed customer expectations

  • Schedule follow-ups, deliveries, and new customer acquisition activities using effective time management

  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate vehicle and build loyalty through a personalised sales experience

  • Achieve SSI targets by delivering excellent customer service

  • Ensure accurate collection and submission of customer information

  • Build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Ensure smooth, clean, and defect-free vehicle delivery as promised

  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualification

  • Diploma or equivalent in a related field

  • Work Experience

  • 2–3 years of sales experience in the automotive or related industry

  • Computer proficient with strong communication skills
