Sturm Heating and Air Conditioning is hiring a Residential HVAC Salesman
Department: Residential
Reports to: General Manager
Years of Experience: 3- years sales experience and 3-years installation experience (Not
Required)
Classification: Sales
Work Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm with 1 hour lunch. Evenings and weekends as needed.
Pay Scale: Commission Based $150,000.00 plus. No Cap
Primary Job Function: Design, sell, and manage the complete installation of residential HVAC
Systems.
Required Qualifications:
3-years of residential HVAC installation
experience (Preferred)
3-years of in-home sales experience
(Preferred)
Knowledge of residential HVAC design
Computer skills and mobile estimating
skills
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to pass background check
Understanding of Washington State
Energy code and provisions.
Ability to identify and resolve installation
issues.
Self-motivated
Strong Communication and listening skills
Load Calculation (Manual J Basics)
Ability to work evenings and weekends if
required.
Required Licenses:
Driver License
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provide knowledgeable and ethical HVAC
replacement pricing to customers.
Respond and schedule in-home
residential sales leads.
Follow up on all sales leads and project
quotes.
Become proficient in the AI sales tool
RILLA and utilize it to its full capabilities.
(will train)
Ability to use Sales Builder pro as
estimating tool. (will train)
Manage and support installation crews.
Clear and precise communication with
install manager and install crews.
Complete all pre-installation documents to
include complete material pull sheets
Perform proper load calculations for
heating and cooling.
Present Good, Better, best quoting
options.
Present Finance options on all projects.
Perform post Construction follow ups with
customer.
