Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Department: Sales & Marketing

Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team by handling administrative and coordination tasks, ensuring smooth sales operations, and maintaining excellent communication between customers, sales executives, and internal departments such as logistics, accounts, and production.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with field sales executives and track daily sales activities.

Prepare and maintain sales reports, order status, and customer records.

Process sales orders, quotations, and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Follow up with customers for order confirmation, delivery schedules, and payments.

Coordinate with dispatch/logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Handle customer inquiries and provide product or order-related information.

Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Maintain communication with accounts and finance for billing and outstanding collections.

Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.

Monitor stock availability and coordinate with warehouse or production teams.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Education: Any Graduate (Preference: BBA / MBA / Commerce / Marketing).

Experience: 2–4 years in sales coordination, order processing, or customer service (experience in steel / construction materials / manufacturing preferred).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/CRM systems.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

Proficiency in English and Tamil (Hindi is an added advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,048.81 - ₹20,000.00 per month
