Description:
The Sales Data and Compensation Analyst (SDCA) is responsible for all tracking and reporting of sales data including annuity and life insurance production, as well as insurance compensation. The SDCA will consolidate and organize data and create reports to be delivered to management on a regular basis. The SDCA may also assist in certain insurance operations such as tracking and follow-up on newly submitted business.
Key Responsibilities:

Tracking of all submitted and paid life insurance and annuity business using Business Builder, company websites or other communications with carriers and agents.

Tracking all insurance compensation paid on GBE network agent business, and creating reports to be delivered to management on a regular basis.

Working with Financial Integrators accounting team and CFO/Controller to identify and track compensation by carrier, product type and product name. Reconcile compensation data using Business Builder, compensation statements, carrier website data and any other means necessary to verify accuracy.

Calculate agent compensation on a weekly basis and identify any off-statement compensation payments owed. Communicate such data to the Financial Integrators accounting team on a timely basis to ensure payment to the appropriate agent/agency.

Create monthly production reports and agent trip qualification reports to distribute to management and include in the monthly GBE newsletter.

Assist other team members with any operational needs related to the submission and/or placement of business.

Other duties as identified and assigned by the SDCA manager.
Requirements:
- College degree in business, marketing or a data related field

5 years of experience in the financial services industry

3 years experience working with insurance compensation date

3 years experience with data analytics and reporting

In depth knowledge of insurance carrier and MGA compensation statements.

Knowledge of insurance products and the compensation paid for sales of such products.

Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Excel, Google sheets or other spreadsheet programs

Basic knowledge of budgeting and forecasting using insurance compensation models
