This position will assist the Sales Managers, Catering & Convention Services Managers and the Hotel's General Manager in the handling of accounts and other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answering and directing phone calls, maintaining accurate , records, and reports, distributing timely information to operating departments within the Hotel, preparing proposals, confirmations, thank-you letters, cover sheets, function sheets, rooming lists, V.I.P. amenities, professionally handle correspondence from assigned managers, complete other duties as assigned by the General Manager, Sales & Catering Managers that contribute to the day to day success of the Hotel.
Requirement include but are not limited to:
Prior experience in a similar role, excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be organized and able to multi-task with high attention to details, must have hospitality-focused qualities, a highly professional appearance and a courteous demeanor, must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook. For this position some evening and weekend work may be required. Catering software and previous Hotel experience is a definite plus but not required.
