Duties

  • Engage with customers through outside sales efforts to identify their needs and present tailored product solutions.
  • Conduct detailed layout and kitchen design consultations using ProKitchen or other design software to create compelling visual plans.
  • Demonstrate product features through engaging demos, emphasizing lighting, remodeling options, and interior design elements.
  • Upsell complementary products such as countertops, tile work, lighting, renovation materials, or accessories to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing and project terms with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction while maintaining high-end sales standards.
  • Manage account relationships through effective communication skills, ensuring customer satisfaction from initial consultation to project completion.
  • Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives and promotional events to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Provide ongoing customer support for maintenance inquiries, remodeling projects, or product upgrades post-sale.

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales within retail or construction-related industries such as renovation or lighting sales.
  • Strong background in kitchen design, layout planning, or lighting design.
  • Demonstrated success in high-end sales environments with excellent negotiation skills and a focus on customer service.
  • Knowledge of remodeling processes, construction terminology, and maintenance practices is highly desirable.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse client bases effectively.
  • Familiarity with inside sales techniques including POS systems, retail math, cash handling, and merchandising strategies.

Pay: $50,217.08 - $75,476.49 per year
