Sales Development Manager – Ice Cream Retail

Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Sales Development Manager – Ice Cream Retail to drive retail sales growth, expand market penetration, and strengthen distributor and retail channel performance. The ideal candidate will have strong FMCG sales experience, preferably in ice cream, frozen food, or temperature-controlled products, with proven success in developing sales strategies and managing retail networks.

This role requires a results-driven professional capable of increasing brand visibility, improving retail execution, and achieving aggressive sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute retail sales strategies to increase ice cream product distribution and market share
  • Manage and expand retail outlets, distributors, and wholesale networks
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets & revenue growth
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards at retail stores
  • Lead and supervise sales team, promoters, and field staff
  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations to ensure stock availability
  • Analyze sales performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports
  • Build strong relationships with key retailers and distributors

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5–10 years of FMCG retail sales experience
  • Experience in ice cream, frozen foods, dairy, or beverage industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of retail channel development
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within assigned regions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
