The Role

We are looking for an energetic and tech-savvy Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be the first point of contact for our fastest-growing customer segment: SMEs and e-commerce businesses. You will be the engine of our growth, managing a high volume of inbound leads and trial sign-ups.

Your mission is to engage potential customers, understand their needs, and guide them through a "white-glove" onboarding experience that demonstrates the incredible value of our AI agents. You will be instrumental in converting interest into passion and trial users into loyal, paying customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all new leads and free trial customers, creating a positive and welcoming first impression of Orki.
  • Engage prospects proactively and efficiently via WhatsApp, email, and phone to qualify their business needs.
  • Provide personalized onboarding assistance during the free trial period, helping users connect their social channels and build their initial knowledge base from their website or documents.
  • Clearly articulate the value of Orki's features, guiding users to their "aha!" moment and driving conversions to our paid plans.
  • Manage and maintain a high-volume pipeline of leads in our CRM with accuracy and diligence.
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings for high-potential local SMEs to build strong relationships and close deals.
  • Serve as a crucial link between our customers and our product team, gathering feedback to help us build an even better platform.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as sales, customer success, or account management, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of comfort and professionalism using WhatsApp for business communication.
  • A natural curiosity for technology and the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical users.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory for this role
  • An empathetic, patient, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing a large volume of tasks and conversations simultaneously.
  • Goal-oriented, resilient, and motivated by achieving and exceeding performance metrics.
