The Role
JOB DESCRIPTION • Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) • Department: Sales & Business Development • Reports to: Sales Manager / Business Development Lead • Review Date: 1st November 2025 ________________________________________ PURPOSE STATEMENT The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in supporting BuildMate’s business growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential leads across the construction ecosystem. This position is ideal for a Saudi female fresh graduate based in Jeddah, who is passionate about communication, sales, and innovation within the construction technology sector. The SDR will act as the first point of contact for prospective clients, ensuring a strong and consistent lead pipeline for the Business Development team. ________________________________________ ABOUT BUILDMATE BuildMate was founded with a simple mission — to make procurement easier for contractors and suppliers in Saudi Arabia’s construction industry. Today, BuildMate continues to transform how projects are executed across the Kingdom, contributing to Vision 2030 and the digitization of the construction sector. ________________________________________ PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Duties): • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to identify and qualify new B2B leads. • Research potential clients (contractors, suppliers, and procurement teams) to understand their business needs. • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria before passing them to the Business Development team. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (HubSpot). • Coordinate with the Marketing team to follow up on inbound campaign leads. • Support the preparation of prospect lists, presentations, and outreach materials. • Report daily and weekly performance updates to the Sales Manager. • Perform any other related tasks as directed by the Line Manager. ________________________________________ KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs): • Number of qualified leads generated per month. • Conversion rate from lead to opportunity. • CRM data accuracy and completeness. • Outreach activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches). • Responsiveness and collaboration within the sales team.

Requirements
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. • Fresh graduate (0–1 year experience). Experience: • No prior experience required; internships or university projects in sales or marketing are a plus. • Interest in construction or technology industries preferred. Skills & Competencies: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • High energy, confidence, and eagerness to learn. • Strong organizational and time-management abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools (preferred). • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written). Behavioral Attributes: • Positive attitude and strong team spirit. • Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members. • Adaptability to a fast-moving and evolving startup environment. • Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. Other Requirements: • Must be Saudi National (Female only). • Must be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
