Business Development Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Title: Business Development Executive (BDE)
Department: Business Development
Reports To: Head of Business Development
Location: Jeddah, Riyadh

Position Summary

The Business Development Executive (BDE) plays a key role in identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities. The BDE is responsible for researching potential markets, approaching new customers, and introducing our products and services to new sectors. Once a new account is opened, it will be transferred to the Regional Sales Manager for ongoing management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential business sectors and new customer opportunities.
  • Generate qualified leads through online and offline scouting.
  • Create and maintain a list of potential customers per segment and region.
  • Plan and execute weekly customer visits in line with the approved visit plan.
  • Present our products, values, and advantages to potential customers in a professional and persuasive manner.
  • Coordinate with the Head of business development to align on product offerings, pricing, and strategic direction.
  • Follow the approved Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for all new lead engagements.
  • Record all visits, feedback, and lead status.
  • Collect and report market insights, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Support in building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth handover of successfully opened accounts to the Regional Sales Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer engagement is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to represent the company confidently and professionally in front of high-level clients.
  • Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Good understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Excellent personal grooming and professional appearance.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Saudi nationality will be an advantage.
  • Valid Saudi driving license.
