About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers. This role plays a key part in generating new business opportunities by connecting with leads, understanding their needs, and scheduling qualified meetings for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new leads through email campaigns, social media, and outbound calls.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business needs, budget, and decision-making process.
- Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders.
- Engage with prospects to understand their challenges and introduce suitable solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to hand off qualified leads and ensure smooth transitions.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and meeting booking targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in a sales, lead generation, or customer-facing role (B2B SaaS experience is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with CRM tools and prospecting software (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, etc.).
