Sales Engineer

Role Objective
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving B2B sales of chemical and oil & gas–related products within the UAE market. The role requires strong client-facing capability, OEM coordination, and consistent target achievement through active market engagement.
This is a field-oriented, revenue-focused role, not a coordination or desk-based position.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
- Actively promote and sell:
- Chemical products, and/or
- Oil & Gas–related products and consumables
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into confirmed orders.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry to order closure.
2. Client & Market Engagement
- Maintain strong working relationships with:
- End clients
- EPC contractors
- Traders and distributors
- Leverage existing client network and market connections to generate business.
- Conduct regular client visits and assure professional representation.
3. OEM & Supplier Coordination
- Maintain active coordination with OEMs and principals.
- Support technical discussions, product selection, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure alignment between client requirements and OEM offerings.
4. Sales Reporting & Discipline
- Maintain accurate records of:
- Leads
- Client interactions
- Sales pipeline
- Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to management.
- Follow internal sales processes and reporting structures.
Experience & Skill RequirementsMandatory
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role
- Proven experience in:
- Chemical products, and/or
- Oil & Gas products and services
- Strong existing connections with clients and OEMs in the UAE market
- Demonstrated history of target achievement
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
Preferred
- Experience dealing with:
- EPC companies
- Government or semi-government clients
- Technical understanding of industrial / oil & gas products
- Ability to work independently with high accountability
