Job Description

Are you a natural connector, a relentless prospector, and someone who thrives on turning cold leads into opportunities? At CompuSystems (CSI), we’re looking for a high-energy Sales Development Representative (SDR) who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help fuel our growth. This is not your average SDR role, you will be at the front lines of our sales engine, driving outreach, building relationships, and actively engaging with industry communities. If you love the thrill of the hunt, enjoy meaningful conversations, and want to be part of a fast-moving team, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the top of the funnel: Make lots of cold calls, send personalized emails, and use social media to spark interest and start conversations.
  • Research & Prospect: Identify and target companies that align with our ideal customer profile using tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, and CRM data.
  • Qualify Leads: Understand prospect needs, budget, and timeline to determine fit before passing to Account Executives.
  • Follow Up Relentlessly: Stay on top of warm leads, re-engage cold ones, and never let a good opportunity slip through the cracks.
  • Schedule Meetings: Book discovery calls and meetings for our sales team to pursue qualified opportunities.
  • Engage Locally: Represent CSI at local industry chapter events, networking meetups, and professional associations to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Keep It Clean: Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and progress in Salesforce.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • A self-starter attitude with a love for outreach and relationship-building.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Hubspot preferred).
  • Willingness to attend and participate in local industry events and networking opportunities.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • A fast-paced, high-impact work environment.
  • Opportunity to work closely with executive leadership.
  • The chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact.
  • A culture of innovation, ownership, and growth.
