Sales Development Representative

This position within MenuTrinfo is a key and valued position to keep the business stable and growing in the future. We seek a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive sales of our professional training, certification, nutrition analysis and supplementary services. Additionally, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a key position for MenuTrinfo's stability and future growth. This role collaborates with Departmental Directors in addition to the CEO to support and meet or exceed the Company's sales and revenue goals.

Salary starting at $60k + commission

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities

  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets across the full range of company offerings.
  • Customer Acquisition: Be a vital, producing member of the sales team, focused on gaining new customers and contributing to company sales goals.
  • High-Value Client Development: Strategically acquire and integrate High-Value Clients into recurring revenue streams.
  • Individual Performance: Meet all individual sales goals as defined by the company

Sales Cycle Management

  • Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to proposal generation, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Client Consultation & Solution Design: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify client skill gaps and recommend tailored learning paths, ensuring the proposed solution aligns directly with their business objectives.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain an active customer relationship management (CRM) system to build a traceable sales pipeline and monitor closing rates.
  • Fulfillment Handover: Manage the sales process from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition to the fulfillment team.

Market Expertise and Collaboration

  • Product Mastery: Maintain a deep understanding of our training and certification catalog, including course content, exam requirements, and the value proposition of official certification in achieving expertise and company partner status.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in certification requirements to effectively position our products and services.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and other teams, providing feedback on product effectiveness and assisting in the development of promotional strategies.
  • External Representation: Attend trade shows and events to actively promote the company.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Type of Experience Needed to be Successful

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell intangible services, with a preference for experience in training, educational programs, or technical/professional services.
  • Strong background in sales, specifically within the CPG, Foodservice, or Certification industries, with a verified record of success.

Specialized Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to perform professional correspondence.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and effective pipeline management techniques.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain focused, positive, and productive amid ambiguity and evolving goals
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to perform well and maintain effectiveness when working under pressure.

Supervisory Expectations:

The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

  • B2B sales: 3 years (Preferred)
