Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with at least 1-2 years of experience in SaaS or technology sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities by identifying, prospecting, and engaging potential clients. This role requires a proactive and ambitious individual who can effectively communicate Pennys value proposition, spark initial interest, and book discovery meetings that move prospects into the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities - SDR

Research and prospect target accounts across the GCC market to generate new leads.

Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities against ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), and determine fit to book discovery meetings for the sales team.

Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation targets.

Conduct outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage decision-makers.

Clearly communicate Pennys value proposition to prospective clients.

Collaborate with Account Executives and the sales leadership team to execute go-to-market strategies.

Work with Marketing to design and run outbound campaigns (e.g. sequences by industry or role).

Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, lead status, and pipeline health using CRM tools.

Stay informed about procurement technology trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.

Represent Penny at industry events and networking opportunities when required.
Requirements

1-2 years of experience in B2B sales or sales development, preferably in SaaS or technology solutions.

Proven track record of pipeline generation through cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) and consistently meeting or exceeding meeting-booked targets.

Comfortable with high-volume prospecting and building pipeline independently.

Strong ability to research, segment, and target accounts across industries.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Familiarity with CRM & prospecting tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Lusha, Sales Navigator etc.).

Experience working in the GCC market is highly desirable.

Arabic fluency and business-level English.

Based in Riyadh, with willingness to travel within the GCC.
