Turkey Sales Director

We are seeking a seasoned Turkey Sales Director for a global client operating in the energy sector. This role will drive strategic account management, market development and overall sales operations, taking a key leadership position in expanding the company’s presence in Turkey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies based on regional and customer insights. Identify target markets, analyze customer needs, and evaluate the competitive landscape.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage and strengthen multi-dimensional relationships with strategic accounts. Integrate company resources to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Market & Opportunity Insight: Gather and analyze customer and market information from various sources. Establish communication routines to track real-time needs and emerging opportunities.
  • Opportunity Management: Manage regional and strategic opportunities, apply segmentation-based targeting, and increase the conversion rate of opportunities into confirmed orders.
  • Order Acquisition: Identify new market opportunities, conduct timely market/competitor analysis, develop bid strategies, deliver customer-focused project solutions, and achieve sales targets.
  • Sales Operations Leadership: Lead sales data analysis, competitive intelligence, customer profiling, CRM processes, performance tracking, opportunity management, payment follow-up, and contract quality improvement.
  • Contract & Service Fulfillment: Understand contract and service delivery processes, enhance local operational capabilities, and consistently improve customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Allocate talent based on business needs, build a high-performing team, and continuously support capability development and motivation.

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • Advanced English,both written and spoken
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience with strong knowledge of project sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with the wind power industry; understanding of turbine parameters, performance characteristics, or blade fundamentals (deep knowledge is a strong plus).
  • Strong market analysis and customer needs assessment capabilities.
  • Proven experience managing multicultural or international teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills (internal & external)
