Job Purpose
The Sales Director is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue growth and expand our market share. You will lead, mentor, and build a high performing sales team, oversee all sales activities, and cultivate strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in the Egypian transportation or logistics sector and a passion for driving business results.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive, data driven sales strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.

Set and manage sales targets, budgets, and KPIs for the entire sales department.

Recruit, train, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success, accountability, and collaboration.

Manage Sales Managers, Account Executives, and other sales staff, setting clear goals and conducting regular performance reviews.

Personally lead the charge in identifying and securing major new business opportunities and high-value client accounts.

Manage the sales department budget effectively, ensuring a strong return on investment.

Work closely with the Operations, Marketing, and Finance departments to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment on pricing and strategy.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.

A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior sales leadership role (e.g., Sales Manager, Head of Sales, Sales Director).

Proven experience and a deep understanding of the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry within Egypt.

Quantifiable and verifiable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.

Strong, established professional network of contacts within the Egyptian business community (potential clients, industry leaders, etc.).

Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.

Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline management and reporting.

Strong experience in contract negotiation and managing complex tender/RFP processes.
