Job Title: Sales Engineer – Oil & Gas

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer with solid experience in the Oil & Gas sector to support business development activities in Riyadh and across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen to drive sales, manage key accounts, and deliver tailored engineering solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new and existing business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, end users, consultants, and government entities.
  • Understand client technical requirements and propose suitable engineering and commercial solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely project execution.
  • Participate in tendering processes, including technical clarifications, costing support, and negotiations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support strategic decision-making.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and Saudi Aramco or client-specific requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Sales Engineer within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proven experience dealing with Saudi Aramco, EPCs, or major Oil & Gas operators is a strong advantage.
  • Strong technical understanding of Oil & Gas products, systems, or services.
  • Experience in project-based and solution-oriented sales.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within KSA as required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical and commercial negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to understand complex engineering solutions and translate them into customer value.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
