Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and develop sales opportunities related to End users, EPC projects and distributers.
  • Generate inquiries and prepare competitive technical and commercial offers
  • Conduct product presentations, technical meetings, and solution-based discussions with end users, consultants, and EPC contractors.
  • Evaluate overall profitability of an opportunity and work with the sales team and/or the customer to close the deal.
  • Track project pipelines, submit pre-qualifications, and actively participate in the tendering process. Submit accurate sales forecasts, market feedback, and competitor activity reports.
  • Reviewing customer RFQ and Datasheet & Select and size the suitable Valve and Actuators for the customer application.
  • Following up with the customer regarding the existing opportunities quoted.
  • Interacting with the customers for technical and commercial queries.
  • Once the order is received, Process the order to Factory and make sure the order has been in the Production system.
  • Co-coordinating various departments to ensure the timely delivery of Products or Service to the customer.
  • Build long-term relationships with procurement departments, project managers, and technical teams within end users and EPC companies.

Skills and Qualifications:


Technical Expertise:

Decent understanding of valve types, materials, applications, and related industry standards (e.g., API specifications).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong knowledge of mechanical and piping systems in the oil & gas sector.

Strong communication, technical presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Educational Background:

Typically, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 3–6 years of direct sales experience with projects and EPC contractors.

Experience with the valve quotation process, including technical and commercial aspects.
