Job Summary:

The Sales Engineer acts as a key liaison in the sales process for complex and technical equipment or services, ensuring client needs are fully understood and met.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Consult with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and system requirements, particularly in heavy equipment and machinery.

Provide technical expertise and support to communicate products, services, and solutions tailored to client needs.

Ensure customer requirements are met, including recommending product modifications when necessary.

Propose improved materials or products to customers and explain the benefits of changes.

Assist in the research and development of new products.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong sales and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.

Ability to apply engineering, technology, or related principles to product sales.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Mechanical Engineering preferred.

4–5 years of product-related or sales experience, preferably in technical or heavy equipment sectors.
