Job Summary:

  • The Sales Engineer acts as a key liaison in the sales process for complex and technical equipment or services, ensuring client needs are fully understood and met.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Consult with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and system requirements, particularly in heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to communicate products, services, and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met, including recommending product modifications when necessary.
  • Propose improved materials or products to customers and explain the benefits of changes.
  • Assist in the research and development of new products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to apply engineering, technology, or related principles to product sales.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • 4–5 years of product-related or sales experience, preferably in technical or heavy equipment sectors.
