Job Purpose:

A Sales Engineer plays a critical role in combining technical expertise with sales skills to provide tailored solutions, create customer value, and achieve sales targets

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Visit existing and prospective customers regularly to build strong relationships and identify new sales opportunities
  • Monitor competitor products, services, and market conditions to maintain competitive positioning
  • Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services
  • Prepare price quotations, negotiate terms, revise contracts, and discuss mechanical specifications
  • Submit regular sales performance and market trend reports to management
  • Maintain accurate records of business expenses and sales activities
  • Assist in tendering processes including background research and technical specifications
  • Follow up after sales to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term relationships

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)

0–3 years of relevant sales or technical sales experience
