Job Purpose

The Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets and margin contributions within the designated region. This role supports the growth of the HVAC product portfolio by driving sales, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall business objectives of the company.


Key Responsibilities


1. Sales Achievement

  • Meet and exceed the annual sales quota and KPIs.
  • Pursue sales leads, visit existing and prospective customers, and follow up on upcoming projects.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and close sales orders.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to expand market share.
  • Monitor project opportunities in construction and development sectors.
  • Update customers on product availability and assembly schedules.

2. Profit Margin Optimization

  • Evaluate inquiries to ensure profitability within the defined scope.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and contracts, ensuring proper cost estimates.
  • Assess additional customer requirements to maximize profit within company standards.
  • Stay updated on competitor products, pricing, and market trends.

3. Order Backlog & Reporting

  • Maintain the required order backlog to support annual sales targets.
  • Prepare sales reports and track sales achievements versus targets.
  • Coordinate with application engineers and draftsmen regarding pending quotations.

4. Receivables Management

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to reduce overdue receivables.
  • Coordinate with internal finance and collection teams regarding customer details and contract information.
  • Prepare reports on pending receivables for management review.

5. Customer Service & Support

  • Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate HVAC solutions.
  • Provide customers with updates on order status and product developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly in accordance with company policies.
  • Share product literature, software tools, and updates related to HVAC systems.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in HVAC sales or marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial air-conditioning systems, design applications, heat load calculations, duct and piping design, equipment selection, refrigeration cycle, and HVAC cost estimation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication in English and Arabic.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Results-driven, confident, and customer-focused.


Work Environment

  • Cross-functional collaboration with the Sales, Logistics, Production, Manufacturing, and Finance teams.
  • Regular interaction with customers, contractors, and service representatives.
