Sales Engineer, Cement – Saint Gobain


Role Summary


Responsible for promoting and selling cement additives and related solutions to cement plants. Supports customers with technical guidance and drives sales growth with the key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales of cement products in the territory.
  • Visit cement plants to present solutions and generate business.
  • Provide technical support on product selection and applications.
  • Conduct field and laboratory trials, demonstrations, and plant visits.
  • Prepare offers, negotiate terms, and close sales.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and project opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, forecasts, and CRM updates.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil/Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in cement or construction chemicals (preferred).
  • Technical knowledge of cement additives or cement production is preferred.
  • Proven sales or business development experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
