Job Title: Sales Engineer (Furniture & Interior Solutions)
Job Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer with a strong technical background in furniture design and a passion for sales. In this role, you will act as a technical consultant, bridging the gap between customer needs and our design/production capabilities. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from initial site visits and conceptual design to closing deals and ensuring project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Consultation: Conduct site visits if needed to take measurements and discuss functional/aesthetic requirements with clients.
- Design & Proposal: Create 2D/3D layouts and technical drawings (using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3ds Max) to visualize furniture solutions for clients.
- Sales Execution: Prepare technical and financial quotations, deliver persuasive presentations, and negotiate contracts to achieve sales targets.
- Project Liaison: Collaborate closely with the production/manufacturing team to ensure designs are technically feasible and meet the client’s specifications.
- Market Growth: Identify and approach potential B2B clients (architects, interior designers, and contractors) to expand the company’s portfolio.
- Post-Sales Support: Follow up on installation and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Applied Arts, or Interior Design/Engineering.
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in Sales Engineering, specifically within the furniture or fit-out industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, or Revit).
- Language: Excellent command of written and spoken English (mandatory).
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
