Job Description: Assistant Manager / Manager – Sales (Duct Heaters & VAV Systems)
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager / Manager – Sales with strong technical and commercial expertise in Duct Heaters and Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems. The role involves leading business development initiatives, driving project sales, and managing key client relationships across the UAE HVAC market. The candidate will play a critical role in expanding market share, achieving revenue targets, and positioning the company as a preferred supplier among consultants, contractors, and MEP partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive sales growth for Duct Heaters & VAV product lines across assigned territories
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company targets and market opportunities
- Identify, track, and influence HVAC projects, tenders, and specification pipelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, developers, and MEP contractors to secure product approvals and specifications
- Review and approve technical submittals, BOQs, pricing strategies, and commercial proposals
- Conduct high-level technical presentations, client meetings, and negotiations
- Mentor and support junior sales engineers (if applicable), ensuring team performance and development
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams for smooth project execution and timely delivery
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and order closures
- Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs; provide regular reports to senior management
- Gather market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies
Technical Requirements
- Strong expertise in Duct Heaters and their applications in HVAC systems
- In-depth knowledge of VAV systems including terminals, controllers, dampers, and control strategies
- Ability to interpret HVAC drawings, perform basic load assessments, and understand airflow distribution concepts
- Familiarity with UAE/GCC HVAC standards, codes, and consultant requirements
- Capability to handle complex pre-sales design discussions and post-sales technical support
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 6–10 years of experience in HVAC sales, preferably with manufacturers or system suppliers
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts in the UAE market
- Established network with consultants, contractors, and MEP firms
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently while driving team collaboration
