Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Engineer based in Doha, Qatar.
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales and providing technical support across product categories including:
- Tires
- Lubricants
- Batteries
- Automotive Parts
The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to support customers, identify opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within automotive, fleet, industrial, and trading sectors
- Promote and sell tires, lubricants, batteries, and automotive spare parts to B2B and B2C customers
- Provide technical consultation and product recommendations based on customer requirements and applications
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with:
- Fleet customers
- Workshops
- Dealers
- Corporate clients
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and tenders
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, service) to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and sales reports
- Provide after-sales support and ensure high customer satisfaction
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
- (Business/Marketing accepted with strong technical experience)
- 3–6 years of experience in:
- Automotive industry
- Tire, lubricant, battery, or automotive parts trading
- Strong understanding of:
- Automotive systems
- Spare parts & consumables
- Fleet and workshop
Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per hour
Experience:
- Automotive Parts, Tires or Lubricants & Batteries: 4 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Qatar Driving License (Required)
