Role Overview: We are seeking a driven and technically proficient Sales Engineer with a strong background in the waterproofing and construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, achieving sales targets, managing the full sales cycle from enquiry to invoice, and serving as a trusted technical advisor to clients across Bahrain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities in Bahrain, build a strong sales pipeline, conduct client visits/site surveys, and present products to architects, consultants, and contractors.
  • Technical Advisory: Serve as the primary technical resource, providing expert guidance on waterproofing systems, application methods, and specifications.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain long-term relationships with developers, main contractors, MEP contractors, and consultants while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Track multiple active projects simultaneously, coordinating with operations and procurement teams to ensure timely material delivery and milestone completion.
  • Financial Follow-Up: Prepare accurate invoices, follow up on outstanding payments with the finance team, and maintain precise sales logs and tracking on Excel.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related Civil background.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales experience in waterproofing, construction chemicals, or building materials.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of waterproofing systems (below-grade, roofing, wet areas, etc.) and familiarity with standards (BS, ASTM, GCC codes).
  • Market Track Record: Demonstrated track record of exceeding B2B sales targets. Prior experience in Bahrain or the GCC market is strongly preferred.

Key Skills:

  • Technical: Waterproofing application methods, technical specification writing, site assessment, numerical analysis, and Advanced Microsoft Excel. AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
  • Professional: Strong sales acumen, excellent verbal and written English communication, structured follow-up discipline, and stakeholder engagement. Arabic language skills are a plus.
