Sales Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Sales Engineer – Pumps to join our growing team. This is a specialized technical sales role requiring hands-on experience in pump selection, application engineering, and project sales. We are seeking a professional who can contribute immediately and has a proven track record in the pump industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users.
• Promote and sell pumping solutions across commercial and industrial projects.
• Prepare technical pump selections, quotations, and commercial proposals.
• Interpret pump duty points, system requirements, and hydraulic calculations.
• Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, from inquiry to project award.
• Lead technical-commercial discussions, negotiations, and order closing.
• Follow projects through technical approvals, pricing, and execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in technical sales of pumps with a pump manufacturer or authorized distributor.
• Strong knowledge of pump applications, including:
• Building Services
• HVAC
• Irrigation
• Firefighting Systems
• Wastewater Systems
• Experience working with leading pump brands such as KSB, Grundfos, Wilo, Xylem, Pentair, Ebara, Armstrong, Patterson, Peerless , or similar.

Solid understanding of:

• Flow and Head calculations
• Pump Curves
• Efficiency
• Motor Power
• NPSH
• Shut-off Head
• Operating Range
• Experience with pump types including:
• Vertical Multistage Pumps
• End Suction Pumps
• Split Case Pumps
• Submersible Pumps
• Booster Sets
• Fire Pump Packages
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage projects from inquiry through technical approval and final order.
