Sales Engineer / Business Development Executive – Transportation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to work as a Business Development Executive in the Transportation sector. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth by offering technical and commercial solutions tailored to customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the transportation industry (logistics, fleet, mobility, public transport, etc.).
- Promote and sell company products/services using strong technical and commercial knowledge.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Understand customer requirements and propose customized technical solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or technical sales (transportation industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of transportation systems, logistics, or mobility solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly to customers.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in B2B sales within transportation or logistics.
- CRM and sales reporting experience.
